Over the weekend, our Jefa Sarah Ceballos attended the “Hang Onto Your Shorts” Film Festival in Red Bank, NJ where she was nominated for “Best Actress”…

She said, “I honestly didn’t think I would win, it was an honor enough to be nominated, and my fellow nominees were insanely talented” (Ceballos, 2024).

She dedicated her win to her father, the late, Daniel U. Ceballos, III. She was also quoted as saying, “I wish that little Sarita could see me now, this film is for anyone coping with a loss or any kind of trauma, you’re not alone”
